1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before

- moved in with a great boyfriend!
- went to mexico and spent christmas with Scott my Dad and Lynda
- became a certified horticulturalist recognized not only in B.C. but North America wide
- first x-mas away from my mom which sucked!

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

-I rarely make resolutions.

-No, my friends have a bun in the oven! and it's human!

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?

Hard to say really, probably more interesting projects at work and I would probably like to attend a lot more seminars then I did this past year.

Well June 1st - that is when Scott moved in! pretty exciting stuff!

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Work was really good this year and I am definitely better in personal relationships.

A friendship had to bite the dust.

No thanks to flax seed!!! but 2009 so far hasen't been the best for my health! already one hospital trip down! thanks a lot ovary!

I haven't really spent a lot of money on things this year maybe some cool kitchen gadgets?

Scott's! he rules! he got himself a spanky new job! after being at his old job for 7 years!!! and now he will be working more with design! gosh I am so proud of him!

Seriously? food! baking and cooking has become my new during the week hobby! plus Scott and I like to go for dinner a lot!

Duran Duran, The Cure,Oasis, Mexico, Ontario trip with my favorite guy, Seattle for my birthday! Thanksgiving in Victoria with Hunter, Amy and Annan, Camping on the Sunshine Coast with Ben and Shannon,My mom came out and we had an absolute blast, visiting my wonderful parents during the year.

25! Scott, James, Rene and Myself drove down to Seattle in this sweet minivan! we ate a delicious mexican feast from Tia Lou's and drank hefty margaritas! then later that night we went to Shorty's this amazing pinball pub that plays heavy metal and has an entire room dedicated to pinball! after that we went to this other club and totally walked in on a weird sex show! we ended up staying! the bartender gave us tons of jello shots and we met some fun people including the dj who played a lot of duran duran for me!
after that we drank champagne on the street! it was fun! the day of my actual birthday we drove back to vancouver! and met up with some close friends to have a lovely dinner at steamworks! then shots at black frog!

more sun! and maybe more time to goof off!

holy fuck. i am SO sick of drafting... like seriously how many goddamned functional designs does one need? yeah yeah yeah i KNOW i need to be doing all of this work for a reason and YES it is making my design process go a lot more smoothly.. but fuck! im sick of it.

In other news.. i found a new apartment, im moving out in like 15 days or something ridiculous. my new place is pretty rad and it totally beats this crap hole i live in right now. my place is beyond pathetic.

i can't sleep! true story.

so today was marvelous. seriously! amazing. dreamsville.

i laughed with a parrot!! well mostly i think the parrot was mocking the hell out of me but can parrots do that? anyways we were laughing it was pure hilarity.... and now after writing that i think i am honestly over fucking tired.

i just finished watching eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. god i LOVE that movie. but it did bring back a LOT of memories from days past... oh man, i was reminded of this email i got after a break up and it was kind of like whoa wierd. isnt it odd how sometimes you just feel that someone is thinking about you? and then you recieve word that they actually were? i dont know if this actually happens a lot and i am unaware but yeah... wierd.

its been awile.. i just dont want to do homework anylonger so im going to update.

how was your x mas?? mine was pretty great! i went to the bahamas!! it was fucking lovely there.. i wish i had a pal with me but it was fine none the less. cruise ships are honestly something else.. it is so wierd.. all they do is try to feed you and get you drunk... drinks are too expensive but if you like highballs they totally freepour and you end up getting basically a gallon of booze per drink. i learned that the hard way. please dont EVER ask for doubles... it is more like one full glass of ry (which is what i got) and a shot glass of soda. sickening.

i got to hang out with cal a lot while i was in e-town! it was so fun!! oh yeah! hi cal! i think you read this now!!! im writing about you in my lj!! its so exciting!!!

oh yeah back to procastinating... so i got back to vancouver with no luggage.. they lost it in salt lake city. i didnt get it back for one week. that was horrible, i can't believe how much one suitcase affected me. it is really terrible losing all of your stuff. i felt really empty or something which is pathetic cause its just stuff right? i should let "stuff" affect me so much anyhow. well its back now which has really aliviated a lot of stress.

school is fucking insane this semester... it is like 10 times the work as last semester and here i am procastinating.

So im smack dab in the middle of finals right now... i cant believe how fast this semester flew by. it is unbelievable. i love living here so much and i love school so much it is ridiculous. I honestly can't imagine moving back to edmonton and even the thought of moving back makes me pretty damn miserable.

i suppose i havent really had i proper update in awile.. i started dating this kick ass dude.. but we just broke up, which sucks a lot because i still really like him and i still really want to be dating him. that kind of confuses me usually when breakus happen i am mostly ok with the fact and i can move on relativly easy but this time... i am just like... ugh this sucks i totally still want to date you. who knows really, i think it is just the fact that it was a nice equal balance he was my boyfriend but more importantly he was a really great pal. i dont know the whole thing makes me pretty sad.

so this was my first weekend with out my lovely sailor scouts with me.. or my lovely zombiefied gals. i twas really fun actually.

friday lisa and i headed to the pic to check out geoffs band.. first time we could catch him on a friday night.. not a tuesday. tuesday totally seems to be the hot night for shows out here which sucks ballszz.. DONT BANDS KNOW THAT I HAVE SCHOOL SUPER EARLY ON WEDNESDAY?!!? GOD! okay but seriously back to friday. it was rad, my lovely man friend and my james friend met up with us.. we stayed and watched bands.. i got kind of too drunk.. but whatever no biggie. after the pic we headed back to scott where we had some more hooch.. rochelle got fucked up end of story. well except for the awesome part where james played harmonica for us and it was amazing!!

saturday neil and i went on an epic plant id walk. holy shit best afternoon ever! we identified a crap load of plants and talked about random stuff all afternoon it was a super nice way to spend a saturday. after that i booke dhome to figure out some sort of costume for this party thing... yeah im lame i went for "60's mod girl" which basically just looked liek me on any normal friday night anyways... we headed out to new west.. that was cool new west is fucking far away! scott and james made fun of my costume.. i mean i guess thats cool.. i did cop out big time.. but seriously i have NO TIME for anything.

sunday morning was one of my favorites thus far in this fair city. i watched curb your enthusiasm, while scott got me starbucks, and the made me breakfast which was delicious.. anyways he is pretty fucking awesome.

thank you very much for showing up today, you couldnt have planned it any better. first final in my course and i am blowing my nose and sneezing/coughing/weezing like a maniac. very very beautiful. i hope tonight i am not awake every 20 minutes blowing my nose.
